Flirty Ruffles

It is finally on the needles
after months of looking
the beautiful color and
wondering if I'm woman
enough for such a challenge.
I'm just beginning chart 1 but if
I'm diligent I'll get half way through
it and have enough to take a picture.
Back to the grind!

World Cup 2006

I have decided to join the World Cup of knitting
and I will be knitting Weeping Willow the square
version of the shawl on size 5 needles. The
games are from June 9th 18:00 hrs until July 9th
21:30 hrs. I may be quite pressed for time but I will
keep you posted on my adventure.

My First Sweater

This is my first completed Fair Isle sweater.
I have another one on the needles
but it is on the back burner until I can
figure out the lace pattern in the body of it.

I have just started my first Lopi sweater and
it is knitted completely in the round. Something
a girl that hates to seam just has to love. I also
decided to make my best friend a shawl for her
birthday. it is going to be a Fiddlestick pattern
named Flirty Ruffles and it will be purple her
favorite color.
